Luc Richard
President & CEO

Luc Richard is the President & CEO of Dual Code Inc. Mr. Richard is a former educator who left the profession over 15 years ago to pursue a career in the technology sector. He has since held various management positions for high-technology startups, focusing primarily in the area of Web-based application design & development and large-scale OSS/BSS systems integration. Prior to founding Dual Code, Mr. Richard was a technical manager at Atreus Systems. He joined Atreus Systems early in its inception and stayed until the company was acquired by Sonus Networks in April 2008. Mr. Richard has also held management positions at E-Cruiter.com and Corel Corporation. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sciences, a Bachelor's Degree in Education as well as a Master's Degree in Business Administration.

Mr. Richard is also a volunteer firefighter with the City of Ottawa.

Fred Harju is the Director of Solutions Engineering at Dual Code. He is responsible for the ongoing design and development of our learning environment, all the while providing product direction to ensure our hosted services remain at the forefront of the industry. Mr. Harju has experience in all aspects of software development and life cycle management. He has more than 13 years of experience in the industry, having held positions at Corel Corporation, Xandros, JFL Peripherals, and Visioneer. Prior to joining Dual Code, Mr. Harju was the Director of Engineering at Visioneer, where he oversaw all activities related to professional services, product development, quality assurance and documentation.

Derek Lamothe is Dual Code's Director of Multimedia. He is responsible for turning training programs into attention-grabbing, interactive eLearning modules. With more than 15 years of experience in the field of multimedia, Mr. Lamothe has earned a respected reputation as a leading graphic, Web and multimedia designer. Through his exceptional design skills, his strong creative abilities and quality craftsmanship, Mr. Lamothe has always delivered innovative and timely solutions according to his clients needs. Mr. Lamothe also possesses excellent business skills. In 2000, he founded Hyper-Media, which was acquired in 2003 by The Willow Group.

Erin Pyka is Dual Code's Director of Instructional Design. She is responsible for ensuring that every training program developed by Dual Code complies with ALT (advanced learning technologies) best practices. Mrs. Pyka has over 12 years of experience in corporate training, having managed educational services departments for various technology companies such as Microstrategy, Atreus Systems, Cognos and IBM. She graduated with honors from Harvard University.

Sharyl Jones is the Manager of Dual Code's Technical Assistance Centre (TAC). She is responsible for ensuring that every Dual Code customer has access to the assistance and support they need to take full advantage of Dual Code's products and services. Mrs. Jones has over 10 years of experience in customer support and software testing, having supported multiple software and hardware products and managed product integrity departments for technology companies such as Nortel Networks and Atreus Systems. She graduated with honours from Wilfrid Laurier University with a degree in Computing and Computer Electronics.
