Ottawa, Ontario, Canada - September 5, 2024. Dual Code is excited to announce that it has secured a significant project through a competitive RFP process with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP). This collaboration will enable Dual Code to assist ACP in developing and delivering essential educational programs for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across Alberta.
This comprehensive project is comprised of two key initiatives, each designed to address the critical needs of the pharmacy profession and managed by distinct stakeholders within ACP:
Continuing Competence Program (CCP) Project: This initiative ensures that pharmacists stay current with industry advancements while maintaining their professional competencies. It also equips pharmacy technicians with the essential skills and knowledge to thrive in their roles.
Structured Practical Training (SPT) Project: This initiative offers hands-on training modules to prepare pharmacists and pharmacy technicians for real-world scenarios in various pharmacy settings. It also includes a preceptor training program to support effective mentorship.
“We are thrilled to partner with the Alberta College of Pharmacy on these crucial initiatives,” said Luc Richard, President & CEO of Dual Code. “Our collaboration will not only enhance the skills and competencies of pharmacy professionals throughout Alberta but also ensure they are well-equipped to meet the healthcare industry’s evolving demands. We are excited to contribute to the continued success of ACP’s educational programs.”
Dual Code’s expertise in creating innovative eLearning solutions, specifically tailored for the healthcare industry, will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of these programs.
